TONY GIST
More than Video
If you can tell a story at 24 frames per second, why not do it with one frame.
While video has been my career focus, my career adjacent hobby and side hustle has always been photography. From family photos to creative portraits, the experience of capturing the image is often just as important as the final look.
Tony Gist
Creative
Tony Gist is a seasoned visual storyteller with over 20 years of experience bringing ideas to life through video, photography, and creative direction. Known for blending cinematic visuals with strategic thinking, Tony has built a career on turning concepts into compelling content that connects with audiences and drives results.
Tony’s journey began in television news, where he cut his teeth as a news videographer. In fast-paced, real-world environments, he learned to think on his feet, capture authentic moments as they unfolded, and tell powerful stories under tight deadlines. That foundation not only sharpened his technical skills but also instilled a deep respect for storytelling, timing, and emotion—principles that continue to influence his work today.
As a Creative Lead, Tony has guided teams of videographers and creatives, developing full-scale campaigns that extend beyond video into digital, social, and web. His hands-on approach spans every stage of production—from concept development and scripting to directing, shooting, editing, animation and voiceover—making him a true end-to-end creator.
Tony’s work is rooted in both technical expertise and a deep passion for storytelling. Whether capturing authentic moments behind the lens or crafting high-impact commercial content, he focuses on creating visuals that feel real, engaging, and purposeful.
Beyond his commercial work, Tony is also the creative force behind Coldbrewed Creative, a passion-driven photography project built on the idea that creativity should be accessible, community-focused, and fueled by connection (and good coffee).
At his core, Tony believes every frame should tell a story—and every story should leave an impression.
